Annie (Mae) Forrest
We, the family of the late Annie (Mae) Forrest, wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to our family, friends, co-worker and neighbours for their love and support during this difficult time. Thank you to those who visited, emailed, phoned, sent flowers, made memorial donations, sent cards, monetary gifts, or food; your thoughtfulness was greatly appreciated. A special thank you to Dr. Andrew Wawer, Wilda and Mary, Capital Drug Store, Dr. Ron MacCormick, Cape Breton Cancer Unit, Palliative Care, VON, Red Cross, staff of 4-west NSGH and EHS. We would also like to thank Mom’s family for all of their support and time spent helping to care for our Mom during her illness, which allowed us to enjoy our time with her at home. Special thanks to nieces Tanya, Linelle and Lindsay for readings, granddaughters Kerry and Kelly for delivering gifts to the Altar, great friend Albie for the beautiful tribute to Mom, and pallbearers, brothers-in-law Art and Johnnie and sons-in-law John, Lenny, James and Bernard. We also want to say how much we appreciated the home visits from Father Tom and express thanks for the beautiful service provided by Father Tom and the Choir of Holy Family Parish of Sydney Mines and lunch provided by the Sydney Mines Firemen’s Club and their volunteers. Sincere thanks to Manny Jobes and Ian Robinson of J&M Jobes in Sydney Mines. Your kindness and compassion will not be forgotten.
