1920 – 2015
Germaine Boudreau, 94 of Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche and formerly of Dixon Point, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children at the Manoir on Friday, January 30, 2015. She was married to the late Donat Boudreau (2012). Born in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late Amédée F. and the late Azélie (Poirier) Maillet.
She will be sadly missed by her eight children; Jeannita Bastarache (Gerard) of Cocagne, Rose-Marie Richard (Francis) of Shediac, Evangeline Gallant (Bernard) of Dieppe, Clara Poirier (Yvon) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, Louise Michaud (Joseph), Emerie (Marie), Joseph (Claudette) and Raymond (Louise) all of Bouctouche, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn four brothers; Raymond (Alcida), Yvon (Yvonne), Alonzo (Andréa), André (Yvette) all of Bouctouche and Aubrey of Montreal as well as several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by one son Paul, two brothers Eric, Jean-Paul and two sisters, Edmée and Lorraine.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Monday, February 2nd, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 and on Tuesday from 1 to 2:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Church, Bouctouche on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 3:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
