We the family of the late Dollie Ryan wish to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to everyone who supported Mum and our family in so many ways. Thank you to Dr. C. Chow and Dr. R. Genge for the decades of excellent care you provided our mother 24/7/365. You are amazing men. Thank you Dr. Ferguson, Dr. Ritter, and Nurse Practitioner Jackie Hendrickson for your gentle, wise, and steadfast care over these past five years. Thank you to the entire staff at Alderwood, past and present. All of you contributed to the wonderful care Mum received over the past eleven years. Thank you to all the volunteers at Alderwood for your efforts in support of Pat, Gwennie, and Will as you collectively provided such enriching and life enhancing experiences for all residents. Thank you Baddeck Lions for the eleven Christmas birthday parties, to Angus Mac Leod for the Gaelic songs. Mum's funeral mass was beautiful. Thank you Father Antolin Asor, Deacon Walter Ivany , Sam Mac Lean and the St. Michael's Choir, along with guest choir members from other local churches. Thank you to: Florence (daughter) for delivering the Eulogy, readers Elizabeth (daughter-in-law) and Kelsey (granddaughter) as well as Kelsey and Hanah (granddaughters) for presenting the Offertory Gifts. Collectively you touched our hearts and caused our spirits to soar in celebration. Thank you for being pall bearers: Don and Walter (sons), Donald, Brennan, Ryan, and Seamus (grandsons). Thank you St. Michael's C.W.L. for providing the reception after the mass. Thank you to Shawn and Liam Dunlop from Mac Askill's Funeral Home, you did not disappoint. Thank you to our cousin, Sister Anne Malcolm, Rogersville, N.B. for your beautiful private tribute. The family is grateful to those that brought food to our homes, sent mass cards, made memorial donations, sent flowers and mailed sympathy cards. To all of you that visited Mum during the eleven years she lived at Alderwood, it always made a difference, thank you. Finally, thank you to all who visited us at the funeral home and to those that attended Mum's funeral. In tribute to our Mother may all of us, her children, bloom where we are planted, and when we pray may we move our feet.
