SPRACKLIN, May (nee Stevenson)– Passed peacefully away at the CWJM Hospital, Labrador City, January 12, 2009, in her 67th year. Predeceased by her parents Robert Louis and Justina Stevenson and brother William. Leaving to mourn two children: Andrea (Wabush) and Steven (Kim), Halifax; three brothers: Donald (Cynthia), Mount Pearl, Fred (Mary), Fort McMurray and Gary (Lori), Etobicoke; five sisters: Joan (Placentia), Ethel (Neil), Napanee, Joyce (Rum), Wasaga Beach, Millicent (Mississauga) and Jeanette (Bob), Red Deer; sister-in-law Fern; along with a circle of relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue. Visitation on Friday, January 16, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, January 17 at 11 a.m. from Barrett’s Chapel. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
