REVEREND WILLIAM ROACH
We, the family of the late Reverend William (Bill) Roach, would like to express our sincere gratitude to family and friends for all their kindness, thoughts and prayers at the time of our loss. Thank you to all who offered condolences, travelled to participate in the wake and funeral, those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards and memorial donations. To Bishop Brian Dunn and Father Bill's family of priests, we are especially grateful. Their leadership and participation in the prayer vigil and Mass of Resurrection was inspiring and comforting. To all who joined us for the funeral liturgy: concelebrants, servers, readers, gift-bearers, pallbearers, organists and choirs, KOC members and members of the congregation, we say thank you. Words seem inadequate to express our gratitude to the staff of MacGillivray Guest Home/Enriched Housing, in particular Charlene and Kim, for their kindness and support to Father Bill. Both staff and "neighbours" were a blessing to him who so often offered them his blessing. We wish also to extend deep appreciation to his doctors Tom Hewlitt, Glen Worth, Phil Curry, Paul MacDonald, and H.Asim, and speech pathologist Erin Feener, who cared for Father Bill over the years. As well, we would like to thank the staff of the Palliative Care Unit and the staff of Unit 4A for their attentive care and support. Finally, to the staff of T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel, we thank you for your compassion and professionalism.
