LEGER, ALFRED
1929 - 2015 - SAINT-CHARLES, NB
Alfred Leger 85, of Saint-Charles passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital, Moncton on Saturday, January 31, 2015.
Born in Notre-Dame, NB he was the son of the late Edouard Leger and late Ursurle (Hebert) Leger. Before retiring, Alfred was employed as a welder. He loved to go fishing in his spare time.
Alfred will be sadly missed by his wife of 60 years, Edith (Richard) Leger; four daughters, Bernice Massiello (Robert), Janet Leger (William), Anita Leger, Claudette Coté (Robert); two sons, Rheal Leger, Vernon Leger (Tina); seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
As per Alfred's wishes there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be held at a later date.
Donations in Alfred's memory may be made to St. Charles Borromée Roman Catholic Church (mail to 33 Acadia Street, Richibucto, NB, E4W 3V1 c/o Thompson's Funeral Home) or St. Cecilia's Parish (Mechanic Street, Leominster, MASS).
