The family of the late Joy Delores Rykunyk wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to our relatives, friends, neighbours and co-workers for all their kindness, love and support during our recent loss of our mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Thank you to those that visited the funeral home, sent food, flowers and cards, made donations, phoned and visited our homes. Thank you to Santa Claus and his helper, Bobby and Brenda Monahan, for visiting on Christmas Day. This provided a period of joy and gave us some precious memories. Thank you to Dr. Ritter and Staff of the An Cala Unit at the Cape Breton Regional, as well as, the staff of 4B and Kevin Pendergast for all your compassion and kindness. To Dr. Lisa Gammell, thank you for your dedication and kindness over the years. To the staff at Lotheringtons for the beautiful floral arrangements. Lastly, our sincere thanks to the staff of Chants Funeral Home, your professionalism, kindness and understanding will always be remembered.
