Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Monday, February 2, 2015, Marie Murphy of Kingston, age 89 years. Predeceased by husband: Jack, son: Henry (Frances), grandson: John, son-in-law: Fred; parents: Samuel and Adella Hurley, sisters: Catherine and Julia; brothers: Vincent and Lawrence. Left to mourn, seven daughters: Anita (Frank) Loder, Summerside, Brenda (Evan) Flight, Small Point, Patricia (Randy) Hatch, Kingston, Sheila (Jeff) George, Edmonton, AB, Christine (Gerald, deceased) Doyle, Bristol’s Hope, Paula (Boyd) Slade, Salmon Cove and Deb Murphy, Edmonton, AB; four sons: Ed (Claire), Moncton, NB, Brian, Kingston, Eugene (Kathy), Ottawa, ON and Patrick (Colleen), Heart’s Desire; twenty-seven grandchildren: Jeff, Kenneth (Roxanne), Jamie, Trevor, Ellen, Melinda (Jeff), Randy, Ashley (Ryan), Allison (Justin), Jody (Colleen), Jared, Jordan (Kristii), Christina (Michael), Jerry, Gillian, Mark, Krista (Barry), Christopher (Dana), Colin (Jana), Jennifer, Amanda (Perry), Vanessa, Adam, Peter, Jessica, Matthew and Julie (Tom); seventeen great-grandchildren: Scott, Abigail, Carys, Ethan, Jack, Avery, Reagan, Bronson, Aaliyah, Alexis, Michael, Kacey, Cameron, Sarah, Chantal, Gia and Alex; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Fr. Cesar Derit conducted the Funeral Mass on Saturday, February 7 from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Kingston. Inurnment took place in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Kingston.
