MacDONALD, BYRON LEIGH
1933-2015
Miramichi - Byron Leigh MacDonald, husband of Lise MacDonald, of Air Force Crescent, Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Friday morning, February 6, 2015, at the age of 81.
Born in Black River Bridge, on October 22, 1933, he was the son of the late Duncan and Georgina (Jardine) MacDonald. He was a retired employee of Petro Canada Ltd., in Pencour, Quebec and attended the United Church of Canada.
He is survived by his wife, the former Lise Paquet; four brothers, Benson MacDonald (Marie), of Napan, Henry MacDonald (Anna) and Walter MacDonald (Bernadette), all of Black River Bridge, Perley MacDonald (Dalphne), of Medicine Hat, AB; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, Eldon MacDonald.
Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, on Thursday, February 12th, from 2 to 4 only. Funeral service will be held from St. Andrews United Church, on Friday, February 13th, 2015, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. Charlene Maguire MacKnight. Interment will be in the Black River Community Cemetery, later in the spring.
