BARBOUR, Emily –Passed peacefully away on January 14th, 2009 at the Glenbrook Lodge Nursing Home, Emily Barbour, aged 87 years. Predeceased by her husband, Benjamin. Leaving to mourn her sons Roy (Joan), Wayne (Heather) and Ben (Linda Tock); grandchildren: Lori Ann Hewitt (Brian), Susanne Drover (Bruce), Beth Barbour-Wetzel (Tim), Peter, Michelle, Brian and Jason; great-grandchildren: Gabrielle, Daniel, Thomas, James; sisters: Winnie Maddigan (Leslie), Rita Foote; brother-in-law: Jesse Barbour (Kay); sisters-in-law: Irene Bonnell and Rita Barbour, also a large circle of relatives and friends. Special thanks to good friend and roommate, Major Eva Snow and the staff at the Glenbrook Lodge for all their love and care. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Thursday, January 15th, 2009 from 6-9 p.m. and on Friday, January 16th, 2009 from 10-12 noon. Funeral service to be held on Friday, January 16th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from Wesley United Church. Interment to be held on Saturday, January 17th, 2009 at the United Church Cemetery, Musgravetown.
