Jack Fairhurst, 73, passed peacefully, at the Provincial Palliative Care Unit, Friday evening, February 6, 2015, surrounded by family.
Left to remember him, beloved wife, Linda; his two sons, Dean and Darren (Jennifer); his brother, Theodore (Rosanna); and his 5 precious grandchildren, Olivia, Syklar, Cooper, Blake and Allie.
Jack took great pleasure working as a golf course superintendent for over 44 years. He was a legend in his field: “He could grow grass on pavement”.
Resting at the Belvedere Funeral Home, Charlottetown, P.E.I., for visiting hours on Monday, February 9, from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Provincial Palliative Care Unit or to the Children’s Wish Foundation P.E.I. Chapter.
