It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maxwell Arthur Harnum announce his passing on Saturday February 7, 2015 at Long Term Care Home in Corner Brook at the age of 92 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Evelyn - Betty - of 69 years, children: Malcolm (Marilyn) Ontario, Brenda (Emmanuel) Burt Ontario, Wanda (Vasile) Oncea Ontario, and Natalie of Nova Scotia, grandchildren: Chantel, Andrew, Natalie and Jeremy, great grandchildren: Drew, Maxwell, Elias, Emily, Catherine, Forde, and Ondine; sister: Annie Janes of Ontario and a circle of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Amelia, sisters: Elizabeth Peddle, Emily Howell, Dorothy Peckford, and brother: Harold. The family will be receiving friends from Fillatre Funeral Home 4 St. Marks Avenue on Thursday from the hours of 2- 4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral service will take place from the Salvation Army Citadel on Clarence Street on Friday February 13th, at 2:pm, Majors Raymond and Laura Janes officiating with interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
