Laura Lee Cofran (nee Jeffrees)
Peacefully, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown, P.E.I., on Sunday, February 8, 2015, the death occurred of Laura Lee Cofran (nee Jeffress), age 60 years.
Born in Oak Park, Illinois, USA, a collar suburb of Chicago, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Harvey and Delores ("Dee") Jeffress, Jr., both natives of Illinois. Laura lived all of her adult life in the Chicago suburbs, primarily in communities within DuPage County, including 14 years in Naperville with her husband Jeff, daughter Rebecca and son Brian, before moving to Prince Edward Island with Jeff.
Laura is survived by her beloved husband, Jeff; daughter, Rebecca Lynn (Philip) Owen; and son, Brian Thomas Maze; cousin, Tracie; father and mother-in-law, Joe and Karen Cofran; brother-in-law, Jame Cofran; sister-in-law, Jerri Cofran; niece, Lucy Cofran; nephews, Thomas and Andrew Cofran; uncle and aunt through marriage, Bob and Gerry Golightly; first cousins through marriage, Niel (Lori) Golightly and Daniel and Thomas (Martha) Cofran; and numerous step-uncles, aunts and cousins through marriage.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home. The very bright and amazing Light emanated by Laura and her powerful and inspiring faith, loving, caring, giving and sharing spirit will continue to shine eternally in the heavens above with Him and in the hearts, minds and souls of Jeff, Rebecca, Brian, family and friends around the globe who were blessed by her presence and touched deeply by her very bright Light, unending faith and powerful and vivacious spirit.
