GRANT, C. BERYL
C. Beryl Grant, 91, of Forest Dale Nursing Home, Riverside-Albert, and formerly of Lefurgey Special Care Home, Moncton, went to her Heavenly Home on Monday, February 16, 2015. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Buddington A. and Muriel A. (Belyea) Grant.
Beryl was a retired secretary having worked with People’s Gospel Hour for over forty years. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. At Grace Baptist Church and the People’s Gospel Hour in Halifax, she was a former pianist / organist and served her church in various capacities.
Beryl was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She will be sadly missed by her loving nieces, Anne Buck (Ken) of Riverview, Jeanne Lipscombe (late Gary) of Cambridge Narrows, Muriel Carter (Robert) of Riverview, Marilla Harris (late Bill) of Moncton and Janet Brown of Rowlett, Texas and nephews, Rev. Grant Brown (Fern) of Wisconsin and David Brown (Laura) of Badger, Colorado; many extended family members, several cousins and special friends, Gladys Gowe, Shirley Burgess, Stella Jarema.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Marjorie Seeley (George) and Margaret Brown (Glen); brother, David Grant (Sonia).
Visitation will be held at Grace Baptist Church, 48032 Homestead Road, Moncton on Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. A Service to Celebrate Beryl’s life will be held at Grace Baptist Church on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Jason Cochran officiating. Reception immediately following the service. Interment, Cedar Hill-Greenwood Cemetery, Saint John. Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) in care of arrangements.
