Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at Tiffany Village Retirement Residence on Friday, February 20, 2015 Ramona L. Tansley (nee Bishop) age 84 years. Predeceased by her parents: Jacob and Minnie Bishop; parents-in-law: Philip Harry and Annie Tansley; infant children: Lois and William; son Arthur Ross Tansley; brothers-in-law: Arthur, George (Jane) and Thomas Tansley; special niece Roxanne Tansley. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Henry Eugene "Harry" Tansley; sons: Philip (Glenys), Peter (Jean) and Derek (Sheryl Campbell); grandchildren: Catherine (Darryl Penney), Aaron (Kathryn), Ross (Melissa); great granddaughter Emily; sisters: Jean (Bert Tilton) of Milton, New Hampshire, Norma (Bud Carroll) of Melbourne, Florida, Marilyn (Ralph Nickerson-deceased), Bill Bishop (Ruth) of Deep River, ON; sister-in-law Eva Tansley of Deer Lake, NL; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. There will be no service or visitation at Ramona's request. A burial service will be held at a later date. A memorial reception will be held at The Salvation Army Citadel, Adams Avenue on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 2-4pm to remember Ramona and celebrate her life. Donations may be made to The Salvation Army St. John's Citadel Corps , these funds will be used for the Army's International ministries for children.
