Louise Tuck (nee Ellis)

Passed peacefully away at The Agnes Pratt Home surrounded by family on Friday, February 20, 2105, Louise Tuck (nee Ellis) age 82 years. Predeceased by her husband Eric; daughter Kay; grandson Benjamin; sister Laura Ellis (Bob). Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Eric (Linda), Marjorie (Carl Osbourne), Gerald (Sue), Avalon (Donna), Peggy (Wade Best) and Donna (Gus Osmond); 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sisters: Annie (Hubert Ash), Eleanor (Melvin Green-deceased) and Lilly (Gerald Pynn); also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A special thank you to the nurses and staff at Agnes Pratt Home, Pratt Place, Gary (Chico) and Betty Noftle, Cathy and Wayne Raman-Nair for their compassion and care. Louise was a member of many groups and organizations: UCW, LOBA Worthy Mistress for Hant's Harbour, Blueberry agent for P. Janes and Sons, Mayor of Hant's Harbour, Forelady of Hant's Harbour Fish Plant, and knitted for Nonia for many years. Louise also had many special interests: puzzles, reading, knitting and rug hooking to mention just a few. She was "NL's Cake Boss", talented in cake decorating, especially wedding cakes. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Sunday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm and on Monday from 10-12noon. Then visitation will continue at Green's Funeral Home, Winterton, NL on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 10am-1pm. Funeral service to be held at Barretts Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, February 23, 2015 at 12noon. A reception will follow the service at Barrett's Reception Facility. There will be a prayer service at Green's Funeral Home, Winterton on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow at The United Church Cemetery, Hant's Harbour, NL.
