Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital after a long, courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, February 19, 2015 of William S. “Bill” MacFarlane of Charlottetown, age 83 years.
Beloved husband of the late Jean MacFarlane. Loving father of Cynthia , Sharon (Al  Ytsma) MacFarlane, Pam and Janice (Terry) Reid.  Special uncle to Angela (Mark) Arsenault. Brother of John, Lorne  (Pearl) MacFarlane and Sandra Hunter (Jim Boagey). Brother-in-law of Verna Besley. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents, Smith and Ruth MacFarlane; sister, Audrey; and brothers, Brian and Donald.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Wednesday from the Kirk of St. James at 11 a.m. Interment later in The Peoples Cemetery.
