MILLER, ALVIN CLARKE
1947 - 2015
Alvin Clarke Miller, 67, of Hillsborough, NB, passed away at his residence on February 23rd, 2015, with his loving wife by his side.
Alvin was born in Moncton on July 30th, 1947, the son of the late Eric and Verna (Milton) Miller. He was a member of the Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Church. Alvin worked 37 years for Canada Post. He was also a scout leader and enjoyed teaching the children. He was an avid reader and loved antique cars, and enjoyed long weekend drives in the country. Most of all Alvin was a family man. He loved his family very much and treasured all the memories they shared; his grandchildren were his pride and joy. "When a loved one becomes a memory, a memory becomes a treasure, treasure the memories."
He will be deeply missed by his wife of 42 years, Linda (Taylor) Miller; his two daughters, Charlene and Caitlin; his three cherished grandchildren, Samantha, Aiden, and Gracie; his brother Lloyd.
He will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Thursday, February 26th, 2015 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. The Funeral service will be held at the Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Church, 2070 Mountain Rd, Moncton, on Friday, February 27th, 2015 at 1:00pm with Bishop Mike MacGougan officiating.
