At Kings County Memorial Hospital, Montague, the passing of Lewis M. McHerron, aged 83, of Valleyfield, beloved husband of Janie Eleanor (nee Whiteway), occurred on February 23, 2015.
Born on May 13, 1931, he is the son of the late Harold and Marie (Lewis) McHerron.
Lewis is survived by his loving children, Harold (Elaine) McHerron, Patricia (Michael) MacLean, Sherry (Stephen) Gallaway, Tracy McHerron, Paula (Saul) Preston; cherished grandchildren, Kathy (Brad) Currie, Lisa (Robert) McKenna, Nancy Anne (Bradford) MacSwain, Angela Dawn MacLean, Robyn (Robert) Horne, Joshua Gallaway, Katlyn Gallaway, Ben Preston, Samuel Preston; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Donna (Craig) Bryanton; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sisters, Dorothy, Greta, and brother, Cyril.
Resting at the Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral home from where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel Friday at 11 a.m. Visiting hours on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. Interment to take place at a later date in the Community Park Cemetery.
