RIVERTON – Janet Muriel Feltmate, 74, of Valley View Villa, Riverton, died February 24, 2015 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Eight Island Lake, Guysborough County, on October 28, 1940 she was a daughter of the late John and Essie Feltmate.
Janet is survived by a son, Jackie, Pictou; sister, Thelma (Wade) Chenell, Entry Island, Magdalen Islands; brothers: Eldridge (Charlotte), Antigonish; Kenny (Christine), Pictou; John (Marion), Pictou; Gary (Edith), Three Brooks; nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son, Joseph; brother, Stuart Feltmate; niece, Annette Feltmate.
There will be no visitation or funeral by request. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Central Caribou Cemetery.
