SHAW, SHIRLEY
At Tobique Valley Manor, Plaster Rock, February 25, 2015, Mrs. Shirley Shaw of Plaster Rock passed away at the age of 91. She was the widow of Garnet Shaw who passed away in 1993. Born at Lerwick, NB, in 1923, she was a daughter of the late Reuben and Effie (Tompkins) Goodine.
She is survived by ten children, Geneva Mae Bradley (Doug) of Kingston, ON, Garnett Shaw (Sharon) of Edmonton, AB, Claude Shaw (Rhonda) of Brantford, ON, Connie Church (Brent) of Courtice, ON, Carol Foster (Albert) of Maple Ridge, BC, Verdell Shaw of Olds, AB, Laurel Wolfgram of Brantford, ON, Cheryl Sullivan (Keith) of Four Falls, NB, Margie Cornwell (Ben) of Wilsonville, ON and Elaine Williamson (Dale) of Plaster Rock, 21 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, one brother, Herbie Goodine (Audrey) of the Perth-Andover Villa, two sisters, Marguerite Shaw of Plaster Rock and Elva Larsen (Keith) of Southington, CT, brother-in-law, Mervyn Shannon (late Velva) of Pembroke, ON, several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, siblings, Beatrice Demerchant, Geneva Keirstead, Edith Taylor, Roy Goodine and Velva Shannon.
Resting at Family Worship Center, 123 Main Street, Plaster Rock with visiting hours on Saturday, February 28th from 1 to 3 p.m. Her funeral service will be held from the church on Saturday, February 28th at 3 p.m with Pastor D.R. McKillop officiating. Interment will be in Laurentian View Cemetery, Pembroke, Ontario.
