It is with great sadness that the family of Laurie Kingsley (formerly Laura Freake of Boyd’s Cove) announces her passing away. At the age of 89, she slipped peacefully away from us in the early hours of Thursday morning, Feb, 12, 2015 at Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Center, Twillingate, NL. She is survived by her three children, Howard Freake (wife Olive), Louise Chesterton (husband Paul) and Joan Richard (husband Billy), three nieces, Sherry Morrow (husband Chris), Lori Freake and Melanie Chesterton (husband Tom), and two great-grandchildren, Keegan and MacKenzie Penhale. She will be greatly missed and forever loved. Rest easy special lady! Funeral announcement will be at a later date.
