Jerry passed away peacefully with family at his side at James Bay Care Centre, after a long struggle with Alzheimers. Survived by his loving wife of 61 years Shirley, children Brian (Diane), Lynn Hardy, Brenda Cowling (Steve), Lloyd (Pat), and was "Papa" to grandchildren Shannon, Leanne, Kendall, Christopher, Katey, Sarah, Ali, and Great-grandchildren Hayley, Jessica, and Finley. Also survived by sisters Delphine Ruszkowski, Esther (Calvin) Beddome, and Shirley's sister Jean Radford. Pre-deceased by grandson Jason Hardy, sisters and brothers-in-law Irene (Henry) Olsen, Margaret (Fred) Hambleton, Lorna (Sandy) Taylor, Ruth/Max Jenic, Jean London, Jack Ruszkowski, and Bob Radford

Jerry was born to Bill and Elsie, the only son of 8 children in Prince Albert Saskatchewan, where he spent most of his early years. Moved to living the city life in 1957, he worked at Sask. Brewers, then later in Real Estate. Also having a route of entertainment machines and a travelling concession, which he also enjoyed and kept him busy. Moved to Victoria BC in 1970 to enjoy the milder winters, he then again started a route of entertainment machines and also an arcade, and many other small businesses along the way!
