Saint-Édouard-de-Kent, NB – Ronald Goguen, 79, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, February 28th, 2015.

Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Léonide and the late Irène Goguen (nee Bastarache). He retired from the CN Shop`s as a supervisor.

Ronald will be sadly missed by his wife, Doris Goguen (nee Melanson) of Saint-Édouard-de-Kent, NB; his four sons, Léandre Goguen (Donna) of Halifax, NS, Paul Goguen and Michel Goguen both of Moncton, NB, Rhéal Goguen of Halifax, NS; his two daughters, Ronalda Ross (Kim) of Halifax, NS, Carmella Hébert (Jacques) of Cocagne, NB; his eight step-children; his two sisters, Lucille Breau (Paul) of Dieppe, NB, Rose-Marie Martel (late Glen) of Riverview, NB; his three brothers, Emery Goguen (Clara), Francis Goguen (Mary) all of Bathurst, NB, Jacques Goguen (Ella) of Moncton, NB; he is also survived by his eight grandchildren; his 4 great grandchildren; also by several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Philippe.

As per Ronald`s request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Anne-de-Kent Roman Catholic Church in Saint-Anne-de-Kent, NB on Thursday, March 5th, 2015 at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the CHU Dumont Foundation (Palliative Care Unit) would be appreciated by the family.
