SYLVIA ALLEN
November 5, 1938 ¬ February 22, 2015

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sylvia Allen
announces her passing at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre at the
age of 76. Born in Corner Brook, she was the daughter of the late George
and Annie May (Francis) Payne. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving
memories her children, Archibald (Pearl), Lou (Amelia), Annie (George)
Younge, Valsey (Dave) Lane, Vicky, Hubert (Tina), Debbie (Jerry),
Parker (Jennifer), Draper (Stephanie), Wendy (Henry) Ashford, and
Sylvia (Robert), special son in law, Shayne Gaudet, 25 grandchildren
and 25 great grandchildren, stepmother, Christine Payne, brothers,
Gerald (Wanda) Payne, Tom Arnott, Joyce (Don) Felix; brothers and sisters in
law, Cecil (Dot) Allen, Bob (Hope) Allen, Don (Valire) Allen, Keith
(Grace) Allen and Ned (Shirley) Allen, nephew, George (Susan) Dominix,
and niece, Elaine (Shawn) Thorne. She was predeceased by husband,
Archibald Allen and son, Douglas. A special thank you to mom¹s
caregiver, Stephanie Kinslow and Florence Parsons. Friends may visit
Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 134 Main Street, PAB on Monday, 7-9 p.m. and
Tuesday, 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army. Interment to take place on
Thursday, February 26 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Cemetery, TCH.
