SHEAVES, Violet Bessie (nee Osmond) — Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Friday, January 16, 2009 at the age of 79. Predeceased by her husband Roy Thomas Sheaves and Audrey Guy. Leaving to mourn are sons David (Judy Sheaves), Westfield, N.B.; Chris (Denise Sheaves), Edmonton, Alberta; daughter Pamela, C.B.S.; special friend Glenda Barnes, Mount Pearl; brothers Caleb Osmond, St. John’s; Wesley (Marion) Osmond, St. John’s; sisters Hazel (Norman Snow), St. John’s; Ada (Tony Jefferies), Lewisporte; brother-in-law Chesley Guy, St. John’s; four grandchildren Krista, Stephanie, Tyler, Alyssa. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Saturday and Sunday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held from Wesley United Church on Monday, January 19, 2009 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Mt.
