Roy Delano Kerr passed away peacefully at the Victoria County Memorial Hospital in Baddeck on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015.
Roy was born in Goose Cove, St. Ann's, to the late John Murdock and Christene (MacAskill) Kerr.
Roy was a member and Elder of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, North River Bridge, serving 11 years as Clerk of Session. Roy was a carpenter by trade belonging to the Cape Breton Carpenters Union, Local 1588.
Roy is survived by his wife, Katherine (MacLeod) Kerr; stepsons, Harold (Donna), John and Bruce Frizzell; sister, Kathleen MacLeod (late Edsel), special nephew, Byron MacLeod, brothers-in-law, Carl Hamm and Ivan Green.
He was predeceased by sisters Jacqueline Hamm and Lois Green; infant brother, Ian.
Also surviving are nieces, nephews and cousins near and far.
