Peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday, March 3, 2015, of Eileen J. Pickering of Russell Street, Kensington, aged 94 years. Born in Hamilton, PEI, on September 3, 1920, daughter of the late William J. and Beatrice (Phillips) Hamilton. Wife of the late W. Heber Pickering. Mother of Carole McCarvell, South Granville. Aunt to several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son-in-law Edwin (Ed) McCarvell. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington. No visitation by personal request. A public funeral service will be held Friday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley. If so desired, contributions may be made to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Kensington People’s Cemetery Fund.
