Passed peacefully away at the Dr. Albert O'Mahony Manor in Clarenville on Monday, March 2, 2015 Ada Collett (nee Slade) of Arnold's Cove, originally from Kingwell, Placentia Bay, aged 79 years. Predeceased by her first husband Clarence (Barney) Barron (1995), sister Stella Boutcher (Llewellyn), her parents Malcolm and Louisa Slade. Left with fond and loving memories her husband Rev. Lloyd Collett of 15 years; daughters Valerie Barron Warren (Bob) of Arnold's Cove, Joanne Barron of Colombia; three step-children, two grandsons Dakota and Cass; sisters Hilda Waine (Late Richard) of Brooklet, Georgia, Violet Slade (Late Clem) of Arnold's Cove, Lena Rose (Eric) of Arnold's Cove; brother Berkley Slade (Ettie) of Arnold's Cove and a large number of sisters and brothers-in-law, family and friends. Resting at Fewer's Funeral Home, Arnold's Cove on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 after 3 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am on Friday, March 6, 2015 from St. Michael's All Angel's Anglican Church, Arnold's Cove with interment at the Interfaith Cemetery, Arnold's Cove. In her memory flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the St. Michael's All Angel's Anglican Church, Arnold's Cove.
