LÉGER, GÉRALDINE
Géraldine Léger, 88, of Villa Providence in Shediac and formerly of Moncton, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre following lengthy illness. Born March 13, 1926 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Jeanne (Belliveau) Léger.
She is survived by her brothers and sisters: Paul of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, P.Q., Henri of Saint-Bruno, P.Q., Yvonne Niles, Thérèse Green, Catherine Léger, Jacqueline Manuel and Annette St-Cœur, all of Moncton, Victor of Dieppe and Pauline Lannigan of Moncton; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She is also predeceased by her sisters: Rita, Marie-Jeanne and Antoinette; her brothers: Camille, Antoine, Raymond and infant Pierre.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). Visiting hours are Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Saturday from 8:30 am until time of departure (9:15). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral, 220 St. George Street, Moncton, on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 9:30 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
