STROUD, GEORGINA
In loving memory of Georgina Dawn Stroud, age 53 years, of Wainwright Alberta, who passed away peacefully March 3, 2015 surrounded by her loved ones.
Dawn was born December 10, 1961 in Chatham New Brunswick to Roland and Anna Dickson. She moved to Grande Prairie in 1980, and practiced nursing, a career she loved and was so passionate about. Her relationship with God began in 1991. Dawn moved to Wainwright in 1992, and met Howie, her laddie, shortly thereafter. Howard and Dawn were married in December 1994, and as Dawn said in her own words, had 20 of the best years of her life.
Dawn loved the simple things in life: family, friends, and most of all, the perfect way of love.
She is survived by her loving husband, Howard; her Mom and Dad, Roland and Anna Dickson of Napan, New Brunswick; her sisters, Sherry Corkum and Calvin, Monica MacDonald and Dave, Chrissy Dickson; and one brother, Todd Dickson and Crystal; several nieces, nephews, and many dear relatives and friends.
A Funeral service for the late Dawn Stroud will be conducted on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 1:00 PM from the Wainwright Elk's Hall. Interment will take place at the Wainwright Cemetery.
If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
