Alexander “Buddy” Stewart 84 years, of Sauble Beach, Ontario and formerly of Springhill, NS, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 in Hamilton, Ontario. Born in Springhill, he was a son of the late Vern and Ida (Boutlier) Stewart.

During his early working years he worked for the CNR in both Springhill Junction and Cape Tormentine, NB. Buddy was later employed with E.D Smith in Hamilton, Ontario as a forklift driver for many years.

He survived by his wife the former Clarice Furlock, Hamilton; daughter Pamela and son Keith both of PEI; step children, Rosanne (Steve Seddon), Pamila Theriault and Lynn (Joe Zimroz) all of Hamilton; grandchildren, Mitchell, Ryan , Mark and Amanda; sister, Evenlyn Sutherland of Springhill; special nephew, James Sutherland and family, Hamliton as well as servral more nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by sisters, Floretta and Eleanor .

Cremation has taken place in Hamilton, Ontario. Burial of the ashes will take place in Hillside Cemetery, Springhill, at a later date.
