ARSENAULT, EMERISE (WILLIAMS)
(1920-2015)
JARDINEVILLE, NB - Emerise Arsenault 94, of Jardineville passed away peacefully at the Rexton Lions Nursing Home, Rexton, NB on Saturday, March 7, 2015. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Angus Williams and late Mary (Chase) Williams.
Before retiring, she was employed at the Rexton Hospital and then at the Rexton Lions Nursing Home.
Emerise will be sadly missed by her four daughters, Diana Savoy (Fred) of Jardineville, Mabel Savoy (Arnold) of Rexton, Doreen McLaughlin of Saint-Louis-de-Kent, Elizabeth "Betty" Cormier (Chris) of Richibouctou-Village; three sons, Norman Arsenault of Shediac, Albert Arsenault (Hélène) of Richibucto, Arnold Arsenault of Bouctouche; 23 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
The last surviving member of her immediate family, Emerise was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence (1981); one daughter, Beulah Savoy (Malcolm); two sons, Lawrence Jr. (Stella), infant son, Raymond and several brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm, Wednesday at 9:00 am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 11:00 am, Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Rexton. Interment will be in the parish cemetery at a later date.
Donations in Emerise's memory may be made to the S.P.C.A or charity of the donor's choice and would be appreciated by the family.
