Kenneth Galloway

Galloway, Kenneth Neale Galloway, age 72, of Cadillac, Sk. passed away March 2, 2015 at Cypress Regional Hospital. The Memorial Service was held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from the Cadillac Community Hall with Pastor Linda Hall officiating. The pianist was Lynn Wilson. The soloist was Romeo Lacelle. The eulogy was presented by Mike Duclos. The ushers were Trevor Goffinet, Bryce Evesque, Curtis Thingvold and Tyler Kendall. The urn bearer was Rocky Penner and honorary pallbearers were all Neale's grandchildren. The interment service took place at the Cadillac Community Cemetery. Neale is survived by his wife Cecile of 47 years, son George and his children Tyler, Alex and Kristyn, son Cory, son Scott (Lori) and their daughter Kennedy and son Trevor and his children Dominic and Kendall; brother Wayne (Leona) and daughter Sherry and mother-in-law Therese Perron. He was predeceased by his parents George and Marjorie; his father-in-law Henry Perron and brother-in-law Emile Redmann. Neale was born on August 16, 1942 in Assiniboia, Sk. He attended school at Readlyn and Fife Lake. Neale was married to Cecile Perron on January 4, 1968 at Lac Pelltier. Neale started working with Wheat Pool Construction after he graduated from High School. He went on to buy grain for the Wheat Pool until moving to the Department of Highways in 1970. He took early retirement in 1997 due to health reasons. Neale enjoyed curling, pool, playing cards and touring the countryside. He was also known as a good dancer, specializing in the polka. Most recently Neale enjoyed every visit from his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cadillac Community Hall. Lemieux Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
