Peacefully passed away surrounded by his family at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on March 10th, 2015, William Robert Brown age 80 years of St. John's formerly from Pool's Cove, Fortune Bay. Predeceased by his parents Joshua and Sarah Brown; sisters: Dulcie and Velma; brother Cyril; Leaving to mourn his wife of fifty years Una; Son William (Corinna); daughters: Cindy (Chris) and Marlene (Stephen Redmond); five grandsons: Andrew, Robert, Joshua, Matthew and Jonathon; only granddaughter Jessica; three great grandchildren: Laura-Lee, Julienne and Ava; sister Daisy (Chesley Williams); sister-in-law Maxine (Norman Ryan); brother-in-law Murdock Janes; uncle Willis Clarke (Mary), plus a large circle of other family and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday March 11th and Thursday March 12th from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm. Funeral service will take place at Wesley United Church on Friday March 13th at 2pm, interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
