RICHARDSON, JEAN
After a brave and determined battle with cancer, Jean Richardson, 80, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, with her daughters by her side.

Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Laura (Cassidy) Renton. Jean was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She attended West Lane Baptist Church and was Past President of the Moncton Firefighters Ladies Auxiliary and Past President of the MCA Day Ladies. Jean enjoyed curling and spending time at the
cottage in Shediac with family and friends; but first and foremost was her love for her grandchildren and great grandsons.

Jean will be sadly missed by her daughters, Sharon Pitzel (Bob) of Moncton and Sandra Hardy (Philip) of Summerside, PE; grandchildren, Andrew Wojcicki (Jillian) of Fredericton, Amy Wojcicki (Rob Kingsberry) of Ottawa, ON, Steven Hardy and Michael Hardy, both of Halifax, NS and Rachel Richardson of Moncton; great grandsons, Adam and Alex Wojcicki; daughter-in-law, Vivian Richardson; sister-in-law, Audrey Renton.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Gordon Richardson (October 2010); son, Robert (June 2014); brother, Earl Renton.

Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Service for Jean will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 11:00 am with Pastor Scott Ryder officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
