ELSIE LOUISE FRANCIS

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elsie Francis announces her passing at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre on March 6, 2015 at the age of 57. She was predeceased by her parents-in-law Charlie & Martha Francis and brothers-in-law Ronald Francis and Willis Francis. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her Husband Clifford of 35 years, son Gilbert (Tammy) Francis Port aux Basques, daughter Valerie (Derek) Parsons Burnt Islands, grandchildren Brady, Peyton, and Clifton, parents Jim & Vera Herritt, sisters and brothers Julie (Darrell) Francis Elmsdale NS, Melida (Jerome) Bryan Burnt Islands, Pauline (Terry) King Halifax NS, Bonnie (Wayne) Hodder Sackville NS, Mary (Junior) Scott, Tom (Denise) Herritt all of Isle aux Morts, Winston (Joy) Herritt, Albert (Tammy) Herritt, Seaward (Isabella) Herritt all of Burnt Islands and Christopher (Margo) Herritt Yellowknife NWT, brothers-in-law Blandford (Olive) Francis Burnt Islands and Garfield (Mildred) Francis Halifax NS, and sister-in-law Mary Jane (James) Francis St. John's, plus a very large circle of nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation took place on Sunday, March 8 and Monday, March 9 from the family home in Burnt Islands. Funeral services took place on Tuesday, March 10 at 2:00 PM from St. George's Anglican Church, Burnt Islands with Rev. Jeffrey Petten officiating. Interment to follow at Hillside Haven Anglican Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road. Flowers accepted or donations may be made to the family.
