HOWSE, Carl Tiller –Passed peacefully away at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, Ont., on January 12, 2009, Carl Tiller Howse, born in Wesleyville, N.L., March 14, 1933. Carl lived for over 30 years in Zephyr, Ont. and is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Rowena. He also leaves to mourn two sons: James of Brampton, Ont., Roy and his wife Joyce of Sunderland, Ont.; one daughter Anne and husband Glen Cutting of Sutton, Ont.; grandchildren: Kyle and Jordan Cutting and Adam and Kendal Howse, Amy Stadelbauer and great-granddaughter Samantha will miss his fun and teasing. Carl was predeceased by his eldest brother Herbert in 2005 and will be dearly missed by his remaining three brothers, William of Scarborough, Ont., Baxter and wife Verna of St. John’s, N.l.., Raymond and wife Joan of London, Ont., and also Herbert’s wife Bessie of Scarborough, Ont.; one sister Marion and her husband Homer Stewart of Globe, Arizona. Carl will also be missed by many loving nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, Ont. or Southlake Regional Health Center, Newmarket, Ont.
