Who passed away at the age of 89 in Toronto, ON on December 27th, 2014. Vida was born in Hickman's Harbour, Trinity Bay, NL on August 16, 1925. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Lloyd Benson (St. John's, NL) and her brother, Heman Benson, (Little Falls, NY). Leaving to mourn, daughter, Bonnie Benson (Pickering, ON), sister, Lillian Benson Critch (Toronto, ON), sister, Gloria Benson Harris (Clarenville, NL), sister-in-laws Doreen Benson (Mount Pearl, NL), Shirley Hughes (New Glasgow, NS), Florence Benson (Little Falls, NY), many very special nieces, nephews, friends and best friend, Mary McDonald (St. John's, NL). Memorial service to be held at 1 pm on March 18th, 2015 at Barrett's Chapel, 328 Hamilton Avenue, St. John's. Reception to be at Barrett's Funeral Home immediately after the service.
