It is with overwhelming sadness we share with you the passing of Rick William Butt at the Palliative Care Unit of the Dr. Leonard A. Miller Centre on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at age 56. Predeceased by his father Ronald Butt. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Mary (Williams); sons: Matthew, and Michael (Katie); granddaughter Rachel; grandson Brice; mother Emily; sisters: Elizabeth Mulcahy (Kenneth), Debbie Burke (Raymond), and Sherry Pearce (Wayne); brother Ron (Mary-Lou); special friends Chris Williams and Bill Heffernan; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including friends and collegues at Shopper's Drug Mart. Special thanks to Dr. Gary Rideout and the staffs of Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Clinic and the Palliative Care Unit of the Dr. Leonard A. Miller Centre. Visitation to be held at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mount Pearl, on Tuesday & Wednesday, March 17th & 18th, from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 7:00pm - 9:00pm. Memorial service to be held from Wesley United Church, Patrick Street, on Thursday, March 19th at 10:00am.
