After a courageous battle on Monday, January 19, 2009, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, surrounded by her devoted son Robert (Lyndsay) Brazil-Shea and loving family, of Geraldine Henrietta Shea of Lake Verde, age 51 years. Beloved daughter of Eileen Shea (nee McGuirk) and the late William (Billy) Shea. Dear sister of Rosemary McGuirk, Wilma Smith, Hubert, John (Linda), Theresa (Reg) Laverty and Julie and goddaughter Megan. Transferred from the Jenkins Funeral Home, to the Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford, for visitation Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Thursday from St. Joachim\'s Church, Vernon River, with funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery. If so desired, memorial contributions to the Robert Brazil-Shea Education Trust Fund or to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Oncology Unit would be appreciated.
