The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her family at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home on Monday, January 19, 2009, of Mrs. Marjorie McDonald of Kenwood Circle, Charlottetown, age 72 years. Beloved wife of Lawrence McDonald and dear mother of Deborah McDonald, Lynn Allen, Stephen (Susan) McDonald, Paul McDonald and Chris McDonald. Marjorie is also lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her brothers, George (Doris) McDearmid, Kenny (Josie) McDearmid, her sisters, Dale (Eldon) Sentner, Heather (Joe) Gill, Colleen MacGregor and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Colin and Lorana (Blacquiere) McDearmid and her sister, Lorraine Pursey. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 on Friday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment will take place later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Marjorie\'s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
