The death occurred peacefully with his family by his side at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, of Angus Francis MacLellan at the age of 92 of Clinton View Lodge, Clinton, and formerly of Grand River. Beloved husband of the late Bernice (nee Gallant) MacLellan, Angus was born in Grand River on June 4, 1922, son of the late Marshall and Florence (nee Kilbride) MacLellan. Loving father to Francis (Yvette), Grand River, Tommy (Darlene), Quebec, Debbie, Ottawa, Mary (Joe) Kennedy, Toronto, Jack (Melanie), Kensington, and son-in-law Lowell Campbell, Kensington. Angus was a passionate grandfather to Adam (Bev) Campbell, Clinton, Barret (Shelly), Kensington, Michael (Stephanie), Springhill, Jolene (Thomas Profit), Grand River, Jesse Liam, Quebec, Sarah, Toronto, C.J. Kensington and special great-grandsons Braxton and Marshall. He will be forever remembered by his brothers and sisters: Elmer (Ann), Wedgewood Manor, Margaret, Summerset Manor, Fr. Tom, Summerset Manor, Sister Louise, Charlottetown, brother-in-laws Joe Gallant, Tignish, and Gene Gallant, Charlottetown, and sister-in-law Stella MacLellan Toronto. He is predeceased by his parents, wife, daughter Ann Campbell, brother Joe, sisters Alfreda and Lellean and brother-in-law Cal Murphy. Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville, until Monday, March 23, then to St. Patrick Church, Grand River, where funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, March 22, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations in Angus’ memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
