Surrounded by his loving family, William Patrick Melee, aged 73, passed away March 21, 2015 at the Dr.L.A. Miller Centre Palliative Care Unit after a brave, three-year battle with cancer. Bill is predeceased by his parents, John and Grace Melee, his brothers Tom, Robert (Margie), and Frank (Marie), and his dear mother-in-law Mildred. He leaves his wife Millie with loving memories of their 53 years of marriage, he also leaves to mourn his three sons, Gary (Deanne), Bill, and Steve (Donna), his one daughter Shelly (Craig), five granddaughters, Renee, Melissa (Steve), Lindsay, Haley and Brianna, three grandsons, Bill (Jessica), Garrett, and Mike (Laura), and two unborn great-granddaughters who will get to know their Poppy through stories and happy memories. Brothers, Jack (Florence) and Ed, special sister-in-law Jean and nephew Jamie (Wanda) are among the large circle of family and friends that made him rich in life and surely missed in death. Cremation has taken place. As per Bill's wishes there will be no formal visitation, a Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday March 24, 2015 in the Carnell Memorial Chapel located at 329 Freshwater Road at 9:30 a.m. Interment of Ashes to follow in Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. A celebration of his life will be held at 6 Castletown Place, Paradise, immediately following the burial service until 10 p.m. Anyone wishing to visit with his family, pay respects and/or share in the celebration of great memories is invited and greatly welcome.
