The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Sunday, March 22, 201, of Arnold Wedge, Charlottetown and formerly of Miminegash, aged 85 years. He was born in Miminegash on Jan. 23, 1930, the son of the late Thomas and Theresa (Costain) Wedge. He is survived by brothers and sister Howland (Sybil) Wedge, Alberton; Bill (Brenda) Wedge, Elmsdale; Betty (late Gerald) Shepherd, Charlottetown, and Aubrey (Phyllis) Wedge, Charlottetown. A special thank you to (Snooks) Patricia Gormley. He was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Theresa, brothers Buster and Abbott, sisters Doreen, Florence and Audrey. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Rd., for visiting hours Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. Funeral will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date in the church cemetery. Memorial donations to the Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
