It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Bruce Allan Bugler, age 57, on Saturday, March 21, 2015, at his home.
Born in Sydney, Bruce was the son of Alexander and Margaret (Murphy) Bugler. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, North Sydney. Bruce worked for Fire Services of the Cape Breton Regional Municipality for 40 years. He was the Commanding Officer for 562 Cabot Squadron Air Cadets.
Besides his parents, Alex and Margaret, Bruce is survived by his daughter, Jennifer, North Sydney; his two sisters, Karen (Frank) Black, North Sydney and Cathy (Calvin) Hann, Sydney; two brothers, Harold (Carolyn), North Sydney and Brian (Kim), Alberta and also a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Bruce will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday in the W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant St., North Sydney. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church with Rev. Julio Martin officiating. Burial in Lakeside Cemetery, North Sydney, at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
