We would like to express our most sincere appreciation to everyone who supported us during our recent loss of our brother/dear friend, John Fraser. Thank you to all who attended the wake and funeral, sent food to our homes and flowers to the funeral home, gave mass and sympathy cards, made memorial and monetary donations, phoned, visited and sent online condolences. To those who travelled long distances and to those who could not travel but were there in spirit, we are truly grateful.
Special recognition is extended to Fr. Norman MacPhee and Fr. Paul MacGillivary who officiated at the beautiful funeral Mass. Thank you to the altar servers, organist, and choir; readers Jude Kelly, Michael Kelly and Cheryl Hounsell; Offertory gift bearers Shauna Kazmel-Beresford, Andrea Kazmel-Cannon and Melissa Kelly-Collins; pallbearers Michael Kelly, John Fraser, Eugene and Bernard Gillis, Joe MacLean and Sandy MacMillan; Eucharistic ministers Mary MacKinnon and Michelle Finigan. You all meant a great deal to “Johnnie” and he would be very proud.
Thank you to the many medical professionals who cared for John over the years notably Dr. Paul MacDonald, Dr. Yolanda D’Intino, Dr. Gordon Yeung, Dr. Daya Kodagoda and the VON for their weekly visits. Also many thanks to the MacMillan family for your acts of kindness and for being such a good neighbour and friend. We are grateful to the ladies funeral team who served a delicious lunch. Last but not least, special thanks to Curry’s Funeral Home Staff for their dignified and professional service.
