Miriam Elizabeth (MacDonald) Jones passed away peacefully on March 22, 2015, at the Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto, Ontario. Born in Augustine Cove, P.E.I., on February 2, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Mary E. (Fall) MacDonald. Loving wife of the late Stuart P. Jones. Cherished mother of Kathy (Rodney) Giles and Robyn (Bob) Graham of Toronto, the late Susan Hauck, the late Martha Ketchens and the late Marilyn Jones. Gran to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Miriam was a keen golfer, bridge player and travelled the world. In her younger years she was a teacher on Prince Edward Island and enjoyed many summers visiting with her family there. She will be sadly missed by her sister Eleanor Harris and brother-in-law Garth Clark of Summerside, P.E.I. She was predeceased by sisters Dorothy (Ken) Muttart, Amelia (David) Larkin, Ruth (Lee) Warren, Lois Clark and brothers Joseph (Annie), Hensley (Tisey), John (Lorna), Gordon (Mary Lou) MacDonald and brother-in-law James Harris. Miriam will be quietly laid to rest beside her beloved husband Stuart, in Parklawn Cemetery, Toronto. Cremation has taken place.
