McNIVEN, Margaret Rose (nee Martin)– Passed peacefully away, in the presence of her loving family, at the Health Sciences Centre on Monday, January 19, 2009, Margaret Rose McNiven, age 79 years. Predeceased by her husband Charles, 1990, infant daughter, infant son and brothers Jack and Frank. Left with fond and loving memories her daughters Diann Patterson (Harold), Stellarton, N.S.; Shirley Murphy (James) and Maxine McNiven; grandchildren Kim, Holly, Alicia, Megan, Matthew, Michael and Nathan; ten great-grandchildren; brother William Martin, Scarborough, Ont.; sister-in-law Mary Martin; special friend Percy Surette; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A special thank you to the staff of St. Patrick’s Mercy Home and 5SB, Neurology, HSC for their support and care. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Friday, January 23 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, January 24 at 10:30 a.m. from Roncalli Chapel, Airport Heights Drive. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
