February 25, 1928 ~ March 26, 2015
Passed away from a fall doing one of the things he loved, curling.
Terry leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Marie; daughter Eileen (Svensrud); son-in-law Kevin; son Richard; two grandchildren, Connor and Haley Svensrud; his elder sister Eileen (Budd); nephews Bill (Connor), David and Simon (Budd); nieces Colleen and Jane (Connor); and great-nieces Brandon, Madison, Mackenzie, Carlyle and Tara (Connor). Predeceased by his brother Dennis (Denny), sister-in-law Helga and brother-in-law Frank.
Terry is sadly missed. Our heartfelt thanks to his fellow curlers who helped when he fell, the ambulance crew, the staff at St. Mary’s Hospital, the air ambulance crew and the staff at VGH, who helped take care of Terry and support us as we went through this painful time. We would also like to acknowledge the support and care from the community to us as a family here and in Vancouver.
There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, May 9 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion in Gibsons, BC.
